rollover of AN outdated website to the SQUARESPACE platform
overview
Windspeed Ventures is a Massachusetts-based venture capital firm located in Concord, Massachusetts.
The principles at Windspeed Ventures desired to rollover over and update their website from an old html based platform that was painstaking to access and control. They wished for more internal control over their website and have the ability to makes changes that are in real time. Their goal was to have a user-friendly, mobile responsive, professional site where they could continue to highlight their portfolio.
Goals FOR THeir SITE INCLUDED:
- being mobile responsive!
- have the ability to capture inquiries of potential investment opportunities
- have the ability to easily update the status of their portfolio companies
- make the user experience more visual
- have the ability to use a website platform such as Squarespace that is intuitive and allows changes to be made easily
After our discussion of Windspeed's objectives, Beth rolled over and updated the website content to the Squarespace platform. Integrating graphics and professional photographs, the new site is visually pleasing and professional. On the backend, Windspeed is able to easily access and are automatically notified when potential investment inquiries are submitted. The multiple domains Windspeed owns have also been transferred to Squarespace and are now managed under one roof eliminating the problem of managing multiple accounts.
